Convergint Technologies in Lloydminster continues to support Habitat for Humanity "On the Border" Lloydminster society with a team build day
Convergint Technologies of Lloydminster came out for their annual Convergint Day, a day of giving back to the communities in which Convergint Technologies operates. The Convergint personnel that came out to help Habitat for Humanity "On the Border" and their 860 colleagues across North America commit to a day of service every June upon which they assist a charity or community service organization. This year Convergint is also celebrating its 10th anniversary as a company.
This is the second year in a row that Habitat Lloydminster has been a beneficiary of Convergint Day. On June 15th, 2010 the Convergint Lloydminster crew spent the day painting, installing light fixtures and assisting with many other tasks at the ReStore. This time around, Convergint Technologies was able to participate on the Habitat construction site and complete the electrical wiring for one half of the Duplex. In addition to the labour provided, Convergint also offered a $1000.00 donation to go toward the electrical materials used for the project. Habitat for Humanity "On the Border" Lloydminster Society would like to sincerely thank Richard MacDonald, Convergint Technologies Lloydminster Operations Manager, and his colleagues for their service.
